CAR SHOW

Come show off your Jeep, Classic and Muscle cars! September 28th, 2024, in our very own town of Varnville, The Celebrating Small Town America Festival will be hosting a Car Show! All three categories will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize. 1st place CASH PRIZES! There will also be a special Overall Crowd Favorite Award. You can pre-register online or register at the gate. $25 to enter! Registration is from 8 AM through 10 AM. NO cars may enter the car show after 10 AM. There will also be many other activities throughout the day: live music, vendors at the vendor fair and farmer’s market, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, an air craft demonstration, 5K and an evening Street Dance FEATURING The Warsaw Island Boys.

Fair 

There will be something for everyone at the Vendor Fair and Farmer’s Market! Fresh baked goods, local produce, craft vendors, local artists and many local businesses and non profits providing information on their services! Throughout the day there will be live music featuring some local singing groups and a blue grass band! Over head there will be an air craft demonstration by one of Hampton County’s local pilots. Food trucks will be lining the street offering an array of delicious food options. The finale for the day will be a Street Dance featuring The Warsaw Island Boys. We can’t wait to see you there!

Help support your local Hampton County Animal Shelter with the ‘Run Furr-est Run” 5K! Thank you to the Hampton Regional Medical Center for sponsoring this event. Dress as any version of Forrest Gump to participate in the Forrest Gump look-a-like contest, a have a shot at some special prizes! The theme of the 5K is inspired by the movie “Forrest Gump”, which was partly filmed in the town of Varnville.
